Can I sit on your network with a packet sniffer one fine day and show you

Total strawman. I've never been assaulted by a rabid wombat while using OS
9, but that doesn't mean OS 9 is a rabid - wombat repellant. How many people
have *tried* to hack your system.

By the way...I don't have to do any damage to hack you. I could just packet
dump your data to a nice fat RAID, and see what fun I could have with that.
