Maybe "folder:" doesn't exist? Maybe "Hard Disk" was renamed?
I figured it out just after I wrote the message. For certain users only
(depending on about three different things) 'folder' doesn't exist. One of
the places where it should be created if it doesn't yet exist was missing.
