tell application "Internet Connect" to connect configuration myInternetConfigName to telephone number myNumberToDial

Thanks for your advice, but I cannot get it to work in Panther.

When I run the script it completely ignores the number (as a string) I assign to myNumberToDial. Instead, it dials the phone number in PPP preferences or in the current Internal Modem configuration of the Internet Connect application.

(The only value of myInternetConfigName that works without generating an error message is "Internal Modem". Is this correct?)
