Printing via AppleScript?

Is there a way to print a given message in 10.3's Mail via an AppleScript? I'm stuck.

In general, is printing via AppleScript a little weak? I'm not having a lot of luck with it in the apps I've tried, and it appears to be part of the "standard" suite, so I would have expected it to work.

Any advice?
