You still haven't shown why you need an outside application for the
dialog boxes. FMP can display a window, accept input and run
applescripts. Running users through this sort of process is very
common. Use a "helper" FMP database to collect all the data, then
process it and hand it on to databases that will store the
information and also to the other applications
