If you get the ellipsis, that means that there is more than one option
to complete it; if there is only one completion, you get the full item.
in either case, press F5; if there is only one, it will complete, but
if there is an ellipsis, you get a list to choose from.
Auto completion also works in other apps, such as mail.app; there is no
hint that it will happen, but press F5 in the middle of a word to see
it work.
