Activate Mail.app from stay-open script

  • Subject: Activate Mail.app from stay-open script

Hi,

I played with a script that emulates Claris Emailer to allow MacSOUP to
communicate with Mail.app (for sending Mail-Replys).

The script can be found here:
.de>

My problem ist the activation of Mail.app. The rest works fine: the
reply-message is created with all the fields and text filled.

After the execution of the script Mail.app is the active application but
no window is active, especially not the newly created message. So I have
to click the message window to do further editing.

Is this a problem with stay-open AppleScripts? When I try the sample
scripts for Mail.app from Apple this particular behaviour works like it
should.

Any tips or workarounds to get this working?

thanks in advance

Florian
