As the "file" property of "attachments" in PowerMail is read only, does
this mean it's impossible under OS X to update the path for the
attachment if I have it moved by scripting the Finder executed by a
filter? Or is there some backdoor? Can I perhaps make PowerMail to move
the file instead? If so, how? How is the "attachment folder" path stored
in preferences?
by the way, how do I assign the "attachment folder" path to a variable?
When I try with 'set varFolder to "attachment folder" of application' I
get "Can't get "attachment folder" of application. Access not allowed". I
thought that it should be possible as I can read the property fine. I
need this path to prevent other users from having to edit the full
concatenated path in the script in order to use it. I do not need to
change the property itself, just get the value. This is also not possible
or how do I refer to the property?
