In Mac OS (7/8/9), yes. In 10.x, no -- the X Finder is stupid, so you can't.

And so my Drive Icon Reposition script remains unported. (Well the lack of the Programmer's Tool is an additional factor. Where is Edmund Lai? And R23 for that matter?)
