"mount disk" and ftp problem

  • Subject: "mount disk" and ftp problem
  • From: Steve Thompson <email@hidden>

If I run this script

mount volume "ftp://admin:email@hidden/";

I connect to the volume but I don't have write access to any folders
even though I've connected as Admin and can confirm that if I run

mount volume "afp://admin:email@hidden/"

it works fine. The reason I want to use ftp, just so you know, is that
192.9.200.157 is my test server, an OS X Server - the server that I'll
be FTPing too when my script is finished is a RedHat Linux box.

If this is a "feature", how else can I FTP files to a remote server?

Thanks

Steve
