Hi,
I'm building a big database solution in Filemaker Developer 6, and I'm
getting RSI from all the repetitive tasks I must do!
I was trying to get the GUI scripting to do the hard work for me, but
I'm getting nowhere, because it seems that Filemaker didn't write their
app properly!
I can get into Layout mode:
keystroke "l" with command down
and I can get layout setup window open -
then it all goes pear shaped. Nothing else in that Layout Setup window
has a tag - I've inspected it with UIElementInspector and tried all
combinations of click check box, click radio button, etc etc. But it
doesn't work because (I think) none of the check boxes or radio buttons
or text fields have a UI name associated with them, so they can't be
called from an Applescript...
can anyone confirm, is my assumption correct ?
is there any way to fix this? - it could save me about 4 hours of
repetitive clicking !!
any ideas?
