Thanks, Deivy. I've been a fan of Tex-Edit Plus for years. I've never heard of it being able to report the ASCII of any key that was pressed, though . . .
I've found nothing in the docs or help file. Do share!

Thanks, JJ. It just doesn't given any info. beyond the "SOH", etc. that means nothing to illiterati like me. If this is what you were referring to, Deivy, please ignore the above request.

I had checked that page out, but it didn't list the ASCII codes and I didn't know how to convert the info. they provide. Steve's answer got me what I need for now . . .
