The newest book is Jesse Feiler's "Sams Teach Yourself AppleScript in 24
Hours," from Sams Publishing. The table of contents looks good, but I
haven't read the book.
Apple's Sal Soghoian is writing "AppleScript 1-2-3" to be published by
Addison-Wesley, but I don't know what the publication schedule is.
I anticipate that the best and most thorough AppleScript book in a long time
will be Matt Neuberg's "AppleScript: The Definitive Guide," due from
O'Reilly in November. But of course I haven't read that one yet, either. It
promises to be one of those books that every AppleScripter should have open
on the desk beside the computer.
