What X10 adaptor are you using?

Presumably it has some kind of library and at a minimum could be controlled by sending shell scripts from Applescript.

I know that the Bottlerocket stuff can be ported to the Mac. However I believe it works via a serial port. So you'd need a USB->Serial adaptor.

If you get a basic adaptor working then you could do some pretty cool things via programs like clicker. Thats the program that lets you send Applescripts via a Ericson t-68 bluetooth phone.
