We are having intermittent problems invoking a Macintosh Common Lisp
(MCL) executable from AppleScript.
Our Applescript tries to invoke an MCL lisp image using the explicit
name of the image, but the script sometimes starts a random program
other than the lisp image. What is weird is that the script
*usually* starts the lisp image, as expected, but occasionally, say
every 5th or 6th time, does not.
The Applescript that seems to be acting a little flakey is invoked
from a Java program. When we run the script by double-clicking it,
we haven't observed the problem (although the problem may exist in
that use, too, we just haven't seen it in limited testing.)
If you have any information about this problem, please respond to the
list and cc "email@hidden."
Thanks much!
