Hi there...

I am a scripting newbie trying to do something fairly simple (I think) with an OS X app called Audiocorder (it's a free download at www.blackcatsystems.com). I would like a script that checks to see if Audiocorder is recording (not just up and running, but actually recording) and then send an e-mail to a specific address if it is NOT.

The library says there is a "GetStatus" command which returns whethere the recording is on, off or paused, but I played around with it a little bit and have not idea what to do. I kept getting returned "the variable is not defined" among other prompts.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...
