Does anyone know of a good Quark scripting reference? Documentation
provided by Quark, is limited. Thanks again! :)
Kurt,
Replace your line - duplicate generic bla bla bla with:
set tool mode of document 1 to drag mode
select generic boxes of page 1 of document 1
copy
show document 2
paste
Don't skip the tool mode. References? We don't need no stinking
references!
Actually I got my start with their example script "Document
Construction" which is in the Quark Folder.
Collect every script you can find for dealing with Quark and then try
to modify them to suite your needs and educate yourself. I did read an
AS book, but I've found over the years that working with existing
scripts was much more beneficial. Reading the AS book kinda just made
my eyes gloss over. Your mileage may vary. Let me know if you want
examples, I have tons. It would be nice to know they'd go to a good
home.
