Smile requires a fix under Panther.

Panther broke Finder's "exists anAlias".
As a consequence, all Smile users should install the following fix ASAP.
- Install the fix *before launching Smile for the first time* under Panther. Otherwise your Worksheet will be lost.
- There is no problem installing the fix and using Smile under Jaguar with the fix installed [1].
-- Instructions.
1. With any text editor (for instance, Smile) make an ASCII (text) file with the following 3 lines as its contents:

on SmileAlias(f)
f as alias
end
--------------------------------
I've named the file "SmileAliasFix" but any name is a good name.
2. Copy the file into /Class Scripts/Context additions/ (in Smile's folder)
Et voila.

[1] Only consequence, in some circumstances you may leak a few hundreds bytes, a minor trouble if you're not performing extensively automatic operations.
