Keychain scripting appears to be dead

So, I can't get a list of keys, create keys, or get properties for specific
keys.

Please tell me that I'm just doing something silly, and that keychain
scripting isn't effectively borked in Panther. If it is, then a LOT of
network administrators are about to be forced to throw out security in their
scripts.
