Yes, because your Eudora Folder can have any name and location you like; it's created by default in ~/Documents/ just as in the past it was created by default in System Folder.

Another aside: I miss the snappiness of Eudora 3.

Sure. It will still run in Classic. 1.5.3 and probably even 1.3 will run in Classic. I stayed with 3.1.3 so long as I was using my old 180 MHz machine.
