AppleScript 1.8.3 for OS X & Finder.out

  • Subject: AppleScript 1.8.3 for OS X & Finder.out

In my searching I've discovered that I have AppleScript 1.8.1 loaded on my machine. The latest/final version for OS X 10.1.5 is 1.8.3 which supposedly contains several useful bug fixes.

Going to the Apple website (and searching Google) reveals only an AppleScript 1.8.3 updater for OS 9. Software Update doesn't offer the update.

Does anyone know where to get the AppleScript 1.8.3 for Mac OS X update?

One of the reasons I'm loooking for it is that I sometimes get a little white box on screen entitled "Finder.out" (with no other information) when I run a script to move a single window around, change columns, etc--usually after calling the script several times. A search on Google was also fruitless. Thoughts?

Thanks!
