AppleScript's own dictionary is the aeut, and contains stuff which is not
implemented but merely available for developers to implement in their own
aete dictionaries if they so wish - one of the reasons they don't want to
expose it, since it's not clear that these sections are not implemented if
you don't already know it. (Except they don't compile, another possible
source of confusion.) Chris N. has reminded me of this privately, and it's
certainly a valid concern. I guess we need a dictionary which contains only
the stuff that is implemented as part of the language and leaves out the
other stuff.
