Yes. I wholeheartedly agree! I had numerous scripts that made use of the
Finder labels - for me, they were like manna from heaven. Too bad I
didn't really start using them until just a couple years before buying my
new TiBook. But once I started using labels, it was nearly addicting.
Sometimes I have to use dialogs and beeps and speech to troubleshoot, at
other times, labels were just as helpful in keeping track of what's been
done, what needs to be done and what's been overlooked.
I hear the labels are making a comeback in Panther. I'm certainly looking
forward to it.
