iCal question

Hi. Is there any way in, through AppleScript, to determine which calendars a user has checked off to display in iCal? (I am referring to the list of calendars that can be found in the upper-left hand corner of the iCal window.) I can't seem to find any way to do it, or even a preference file that I might be able to open with AppleScript to find this information. Is it possible?
