AFAIK that barrier was not in the OS but in the editor.
Well it was in the OS if you relied upon the TextEdit* engine as FaceSpan did.
Would've been nice if FS used Marco Piovanelli's WASTE instead, but it didn't.
Certainly Script Debugger didn't suffer from it - one of the reasons
I got my boss to buy me a copy.
SD always used WASTE, I believe.
And I believe Apple's Script Editor 2.0 finally lifted the barrier too.
Yes, but now you're talking OS X. I'm talking FaceSpan under Mac OS.
