At 05:59p +0900 04/20/2004, email@hidden didst inscribe upon an electronic papyrus:

Anyway, Deivy P and I came up with a UI scripting "crutch" (crutch since it's not fully what we want)
It works from e.g Apple's Script Menu or iKey:

i have been researching exactly the same thing for shifts between french and english. my idea was to do what you proposed (use ui scripting) with the addition of a contextual menu that pops somewhere very much like [textextra] does. i was checking AS docs etc (i am a total beginner here) today but could not go very far.

i hope you make it. if you do your script is going to be used all over the world !

And if anyone wants to _disable_ the interactive spell checking:

defaults write -g CheckSpellingWhileTyping 0

-boo
hu duznt undrstand wy peepl can't spel, it's so e-z!
