Just so it's clear: PreFab was not involved in the design or development of GUI Scripting. That was done by Apple. If anyone had asked, I certainly would have argued long and hard for a user-level representation rather than literally mirroring the internal structure. Player's dictionary has been around for 10 years; I still think Apple should have started with that.

When we saw a beta of GUI Scripting and UI Inspector, it became clear that there was a huge gap for anyone who wanted to script more than a few GUI elements. So, we created PreFab UI Browser.
