I have examined the header codes from some rtf files and i think I
understand most of them.
For example in the following
"{\\rtf1\\mac\\ansicpg10000\\cocoartf102

Helvetica-Bold;\\f1\\fswiss\\fcharset77 Helvetica;}
{\\colortbl;\\red255\\green255\\blue255;\\red0\\green0\\blue221;\\red0\\

\\pard\\tx560\\tx1120\\tx1680\\tx2240\\tx2800\\tx3360\\tx3920\\tx4480\\t

\\f0\\b\\fs24 \\cf0 From:
line 1 says rich text format, on a mac, ?, version of cocoa rtf
line 2 is a list of the fonts used in the document
line 3 is a list of the colors used in the document
line 4 I don't know
line 5 I haven't a clue
line 6 font, ?, font size, color, the actual text
another set of header codes is

this has a different line 4 which may set a limit on the display, but I
don't know.
Is there a source of good information for the Technical Specifications
for rtf files?
