Hi List!

Thanks for posting.

There is still a question:

Either Mp3 or another format, how do I call the sound file without
opening an app?

For example:

If I go "do shell script "open pathtofile/myvoice.mp3"" this will force
iTunes or another app to open the file.

I need to play the sound without opening a window. Do you agree?

I need to play the file using a non-window resource of Mac OS. How to
safely call this resource?

I've never heard of a way to just randomly call MP3 / AAC sounds without a player of some kind. If you dont mind having an additional requirement to your software, this is a windowless background player you may want to look into.

I think it's freeware but don't quote me.
