I've got a Canon CanoScan 8400f scanner. The CanoScan Toolbox
application lets you specify an application to pass scanned images on
to. This seems to work with any application that allows dropping files
on to it. So I created a simple droplet applescript that tells iPhoto
to import the photos that are dropped on to it. This works when I drag
and drop to the droplet from the Finder. However when invoked by the
CanoScan Toolkit after a scan completes it seems to only run the "run"
handler, instead of passing the files to the "open" handler. Is there
some other means that an application can request another application to
open files with? Any way to handle in AppleScript?
