Error 19005 when saving quicktime movie

  • Subject: Error 19005 when saving quicktime movie

I am attempting to write a little batch processing script which would access a folder filled with edited quicktime movies; open each movie in quicktime pro and then save them as self-contained movie into an other folder. I am using the quicktime droplet template downloaded from apple.

Everting I'm doing up to the point of saving the movie seems to be working fine. At the point where I save the movie I get an error: error 19005.

Does anyone know what the error is indicating. I have not been able to find out what the error means or what is causing it.

the actual code which attempts to save the file is as follows:

save movie 1 in destF as self contained with replacing
		close movie 1 saving no

I have tried it without the "with replacing"
I have pre-created the file and set made certain the file could be read and written by all users by setting the privileges to read/write/execute.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
Do I need to delay the close movie statement until I'm sure the movie has finished saving.

your help would be greatly appreciated.

Ralph
