Is there any way to set a file's creation date?
So, if you have installed the Developer Tools, you may use their
"SetFile" command.
Oops! How'd that sneak out? What I really meant was:
do shell script "/usr/local/bin/SetFile -d \"12/04/2004 22:38\" " & filePath
Since when is SetFile in /usr/local/bin? With the Developer Tools
installed it's in /Developer/Tools/SetFile.
Presumably adding "/Developer/Tools" to the PATH in "/etc/profile"
would remove the need to specify the path to SetFile. I haven't added
that path to the system wide profile, only to my local ".profile"
file, but the change to "/etc/profile" should work system wide.
