Actually, this list isn't too bad on the auto-reply front. The framers list I'm on is supremely annoying in its ability to spawn surges of "out of office reminders" at every holiday season, and steadily throughout the summer. I think people on this list are more conscious of this issue, or they just keep on reading the list through the holidays.
