Then you have a problem because it compiles on my system. (10.3.7, AS 1.9.3, SE 2.0)


This is unreal. I know that AppleScripting can be very tedious, but I'd never have thought I'd be spending hours trying to determine if a folder exists and create it if not.

Apparently, you have something wrong with your system; both scripts compile and run on my computer.
