One thing to remember is that SMB is not the same as AFP, so there are some
things that won't survive a dismount.

My question is, how do you use this folder? All day every day? If it's on a
desktop machine, why not just leave it mounted?

Be careful of what you headbutt. Some doors are not as sturdy as they might
