Applets Won't Run

Does anyone have a quick-fix for this?

After installing the last Security Update from Apple, my applets won't run.
Nothing seems to happen when I double-click.

Other apps all seem fine. Disk Utility finds no permissions errors.
DiskWarrior reports A-OK. I trashed the AppleScript plist file. I
re-installed OS 10.3.2 update and Xcode Tools. Nothing seems to fix the
problem.

Oddly, when I open the applets in the Script Editor and run the code from
there, it will execute.

Any ideas?
