PROBLEM:
All of my applets suddenly stopped working under 10.3.2.
It happened when I used Software Update to install the latest Security
Update. I am almost certain that it was the Security Update that disabled my
applets. I ran a couple of these applets with no problems immediately before
performing the update.
SOLUTION:
I have to open every applet in the Script Editor and "Save As..." to new
files. Merely re-saving the original applets won't work.
WEIRDNESS:
I found that permissions are set differently for my old applets. They belong
to the System instead of to me. New Applets have me as the owner.
Merely changing permissions on the non-functional applets does not make them
run again.
I got the tip about re-saving from a Guru at the Apple Store. He suggested
that this happened because Apple has been putting undocumented system
software updates in their Security Updates, which would require re-compiling
for the new architecture. It sounds fishy, but his fix worked. Can anyone
tell me if there's any truth to it?

Nothing seems to happen when I double-click.

Other apps all seem fine. Disk Utility finds no permissions errors.

DiskWarrior reports A-OK. I trashed the AppleScript plist file. I re-installed

OS 10.3.2 update and Xcode Tools. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

Oddly, when I open the applets in the Script Editor and run the code from
