yes, we looked at that nine years ago when we first started down this
path, but for the current project, which is still in use, i use VFP
under Windows, where it is alive & well.. i
don't use AFONT() etc. because that assumes the font is installed in
Windows, and also i recall finding the FoxPro functions unsatisfactory
for reasons the years have obscured
Could you provide those metrics databases in a tab-delimited format?
Did you record info for a lot of fonts?
yes i could & did, for transport to Visual FoxPro.. i did about 25
fonts, only those actually used
