I know that latest version of Mail lets you create a message, including
a file reference for attachments.
There is an example script included with Mail / OS 10.3 ( probably with
Jaguar too).
Script is "Create New Mail". Check your Lib/scripts folders.

Hi all
I'm looking to have my program send to mail.app a "message" that
contains subject, message, etc. The most important thing, however, is
I would like to include attachments (multiple being very important) to
the message I create in mail.app. So far, I can create a message,
with all text information, however, I cannot get attachments through
Applescript.
Is there someone out there who knows how to do this, or, have an
example script/ code? if you like, I can post the current applescript
code and rb code for those interested.
Thanks
