As for the iChat scripting question you wanted answered, I'd have
to look at it, never having bothered to try scripting iChat (which I
do use from time to time for video chats).
Yeah, really. If you want to script a chat client, use AOL Instant Messenger.
It has a hundred times the scriptability of iChat. Roughly. :)
Shameful that Apple's own chat client is so meagerly scriptable
compared with the competition. But then that's nothing new, is it.
::sigh::
That said, the OS X version of AIM does not work as well as the
Classic version.
Problems with 4.7:
1. Window menu does not indicate "active" IM windows.
2. 'on signon' scripts fail.
Last time I tried to submit bugs using Safari, the browser crashed.
Dunno if my bug reports made it through to AOL.
