All I want to do is, after a reboot, effectively click the "Create Network" menu option that's on the Airport menulet (and choose a channel). Is this doable?

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you set a script to run at boot time, not login time?

And how do I get back the Scripts menulet that disappeared when I upgraded to Panther Server?

There's an "Internet Connect" dictionary

I believe this is what I meant. Sorry for any misdirection because of the
name.

However, there is a fairly robust (?) record for the Airport Connection,
which returns quite a lot of inforomation. Some of the properties are R/O,
but there are 'switch' properties that are not.
