Any ideas on how to trigger a script remotely on another machine?
I find it convenient to run Apple's web server on my 8500 running OS 9.1. It does nothing but respond to HTTP requests from Linux and OS neXt. All requests run the same AppleScript CGI that does preplanned things. In your case that would be a request to mount shares.
It's a lot simpler than EPPC and I don't even know what that stands for.

Applescript syntax is like English spelling:
Roughly, but not thoroughly, thought through.
