Acrobat out of bounds again...

  • Subject: Acrobat out of bounds again...

With Acrobat 5.0 I discovered that "bounds of window 1" did not work. You had to do "bounds of PDF window 1".

Now, for Acrobat 6.0 (professional) it's broken even worse.

"bounds of PDF window 1" doesn't work. "bounds of window 1" (or "bounds of front window") doesn't work (it doesn't return any information).

So, my last hope was "document". The problem is that "document 1" and "front document" do not refer to the frontmost document that's open, which is what I need.

If anyone has puzzled this over and solved this before, I'd appreciate knowing about it.

(but what is it about Adobe and AppleScript bounds? Adobe FrameMaker is broken too, but in a totally different way).
