Hi William,

There's a handy (and helpfully commented) recursive folder processing script at this url;

http://www.raingod.com/raingod/resources/Systems/Macintosh/Software/ AppleScripts/downloads/DirectoryShell.txt

I found it invaluable when trying to understand recursion. With a couple of minor tweaks it should do what you describe.
