The next meeting of the Philadelphia Area AppleScript Users Group
(PAASUG) will be held on Monday, January 19th, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, at
Springboard Media <
http://www.springboardmedia.com> in Philadelphia.
This meeting will feature Ben Waldie, who will be providing the first
in a series of AppleScript training presentations. The purpose of
these meetings will be to offer basic training to members who are new
to scripting. Topics that will be covered during this month's meeting
will include:
* Introduction to AppleScript
* Script Editor
* Saving a script
* Introduction to Scriptable applications
* Introduction to Recordable applications
* Introduction to Scripting Additions
* Variables
* More, if there's time
The agenda for our next meeting will be as follows:
6:30 - 6:45 - Introductions / Q&A
6:45 - 7:00 - Group Business and News
7:00 - 8:15 - Main Presentation
8:15 - 8:30 - Raffle / Meeting Closing
Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting. Please try to let me know if
you plan to attend, so that I can give Springboard Media a
semi-accurate attendance estimate.
