I deleted my Library/Pref and Safari/Prep files. I performed a
repairing permission and checked for corrupted fonts. Safari still
crashes. I am actively searching for a new browser to use. The only
thing that I am really going to miss in Safari is the
do Javascript command in applescript that allows you to enter data in
text in field, move windows, and so forths - I have gotten use to do
Javascript.
I am not sure if you can do the same thing in mozilla or omniweb.
Does anyone know whether you can applescript the other browsers
silimar to safari?
thx

Safari 1.1.1 hardly ever quits on me (dualG4@1GHz MDD). I would
recommend deleting the Safari prefs file, repairing permissions, and
checking your fonts for corruption.

I like Safari, but the unexpected quitting is starting to become
annoying. Any help to make it run more stable would be appreciated.

I kinda gave up on Safari for those reasons...too many quits. Now IE
dies
on me routinely. Mozilla seems ok, but it too has problems. I use a
few
banking sites as well as the MCCD and UoP websites.. and IE seems to
like
them, the rest don't. I hope that Apple or whomever updates Safari, I
love the tab feature and for once have a few sites sorted.
That's my 3 cents worth...
