That's what you have to do. Basically that Jan.1 1904 date for "no due date"
is a silly implementation - a shortcut. They really need to introduce a
boolean 'has due date' property instead. You can make a new task with the
1/1/1904 date to make a no-due-date task, but you can't change a due-date
task to a no-due-date task.
