Just a reminder for the list: Some unfortunate souls a) subscribe to the digest form of the list and b) have content filters imposed on them that reject messages with quote bad language unquote in them.

So even when you carry on a well-labeled off-topic conversation like this but include the banned word in plaintext, you deprive those subscribers of much of a day's worth of list mail.

I'm decidedly not in the side of censorship or self-censorship, but I do want people to be aware of the consequences of even their well-meaning posts to the list.
