I'm currently working on solution to bring back Applescript CGI into
Panther. For those interested to test it, just send me a mail.
Currently the system is composed of the following :
- a module for Apache.
- a proxy that takes care of dispatching the events.
There is one glitch : you need to keep a session opened to have access
to the Window Server

Not sure AS ACGI is supported in 10.3, read Laine's post of 3 months

Entity Andrew Oliver spoke thus:
If you're using Mac OS X Server, AppleScript CGIs are supported
http://www.apple.com/applescript/guidebook/sbrt/pgs/sbrt.12.htm
If not using Mac OS X Server you can use ACGI Dispatcher (
http://www.sentman.com/acgi/ ) to do the same thing in Mac OS X
client.

Have any of you expressed to Apple displeasure about the fact that
support
for ACGI has been unceremoniously dropped in Panther Server?
