"80" is the numeric id of group "admin", as defined by a regular installation of Mac OS X.
On the other hand, Mac OS assigns administrator rights to a user by putting him into group "admin".
Hence the requirement for "80" to appear in the (space separated-) list of group ids returned by the shell command "id -G", which in this case operates on the user running it (as no user has been specified).
